Jump Start Saturn in Capricorn ~ 7 Nov 2017

Saturn in Capricorn allegedly will be extra stingy regarding all things he holds dear. That’s the rumor anyway. The reality is that Saturn rewards those busting butts on behalf of a better life, and those with relentless and energetic abandon applying creative abilities. For those concerned with time or financial attributes, it’s never too early to prepare for Saturn’s transit in his home turf, Capricorn, the sign he rules and the sign in which he spends the least amount of time.

From the Sun’s point of view (heliocentric) Saturn makes Capricorn ingress December 15th.

From the Earth’s point of view Saturn enters Capricorn December 20th.

During his tenure in Capricorn Saturn transits the aphelia (most-distant points in orbit from the Sun) of Earth and Sedna. As well, he will cross the degrees of the south nodes (heliocentric of Vesta, Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto. These passages will be dealt with singularly as Saturn’s transit unfolds. The point of noting these contacts is to emphasize the significance to real world matters of Saturn’s upcoming homecoming. It is a tightly packed astrological signature era and those who make hay, get to fill the barn.

More, to activate the initiation of the Saturn in Capricorn transit, adding galactic entities and their intrinsic energies makes a good bit of sense. Think of it as squeezing out and savoring all droplets of Saturn’s reward. Starting now and running well through 2018, Saturn aligns with a series of binary x-ray eclipsing pulsars, including the fastest spinning pulsar known. This happens as Saturn sweeps the Sagittarius Arm of our galaxy where galactic objects are more densely packed.

So, let’s break down the symbolic implication of one of these pulsars:

Binary = an inherent duality, or perhaps the inspiration to seek more alternatives.

X-ray = the ability to look inside and verify the reality of the internal structure and the gears in motion.

Eclipsing = shifting emphasis priorities - at the moment of emphasis the influenced point feels excessively urgent, and true to an eclipse the pattern will flip for perspective.

Pulsars are essentially dying stars gravitationally squeezed such that neutrons spin out from the core. This process typically gives the pulsar a precise spin rate (though there are some intriguing anomalistic pulsars). The spin rate creates a pulse. The eclipsing dynamic produces a period. The pulse feels like the prod of a strategically placed electrode. The period becomes an intrinsic cycle that if applied as an interval of physical activity can maximize results. Pulsars provide an impulse to overcome inertia and offer a cyclic interval to which goal setting can be attached.

During Saturn’s upcoming pulsar parade pulses of 2.414 and 5.54 seconds can be located. These pulses trigger moments of instinctive knee jerk reaction. However, Saturn promises that if reaction does not occur until the pulse passes, greater clarity and context most likely results. So, when blipped by a life impulse, make the conscious effort to reserve any outward response for somewhere between two and a half and five and a half seconds. While that seems like a short interval of time, when holding back on replying to any situation in life for that length of time, it feels like a lot of dead air. But it’s not. It’s a matter of choosing to respond from the point of view of Saturn’s perspective and his wishes for your grandest plans and intended objectives to unfold in a timely manner and with maximum ease.

There are other pulsar cycles standing out between now and the end of January. These include intervals of 54 minutes and another of two hours, 51 seconds. These are dollops of effort intervals. When engaging a task, assign work effort in energy packets that last for either of these intervals. When an interval completes, take a break before resuming another applied energy interval.

An overall period of 40.07 days underscores the next couple of months. Apply energy packets of work per above to any pursued objective for a minimum of forty days. Instead of “let’s see how it goes” for a month, Saturn strongly suggests clearer results unfold at the forty-day marker. Anything worth pursuing is worth pursuing for at least this initiation cycle.

Saturn arrives at the longitude of the fastest known spinning pulsar (1 Cap 49) on January 4th, the day following of Earth’s perihelion - our planet’s annual closest approach to the Sun. This renders a sense of urgency and offers an interval of invigoration to get things going. In terms of launches early in the New Year, the fourth day of the year offers a realistic and productive alternative to the “as soon as the calendar turns” thinking.

During transit to these pulsars, quality work can occur faster than expected. And here’s why: Saturn points out that if dedicated energy packets of effort are applied to what summons your attention in the moment, the “zone” is felt. Like greased lightning, task and effort magically align. Results occur faster, and with a higher level of quality.

Here’s an example of applying attention to creative stimulation - the basic idea can be applied to any set of work tasks. Let’s say a graphic designer has a deadline of completing illustrations for a massive book. Time for scheduled completion nears, and as a result, pressure to get the job done. After all, if the artist does not finish on time, not only is there no bonus, a penalty of payment might be assigned. So, the artist opens up work files on the computer, but the sketch book near the computer keeps calling the artist by name. The artist labors to “get into” the assignment, but the urge to sketch a portrait of Einstein won’t go away.

Fine, sketch Einstein. Use an energy packet or two to get that out of the system. Then, return to the work assignment and complete the job.

Focus where creative energy demands your attention. Engage and exhaust that. Refresh, then resume the schedule of activities as originally planned. With the creative “distraction” satisfied a fast flow of effort follows. That flow can then be applied to other tasks, and they might be accomplished ahead of schedule and with enriched creative attention.

Over the next months see if timelines can be assessed by evaluating the amount of energy you must consume to complete those tasks. By assessing energy, you can more clearly assess your compensation requirements for the project.
